  • Fair Trade youth packs launched

    The Scottish Fair Trade Forum has launched new Fair's Fair youth packs to help children and young people engage with the concept of fair trade ahead of Fair Trade Fortnight, which will run from 27 February to 12 March 2017.

  • Chance to feed into Holyrood consultation

    Organisations with an interest in promoting global citizenship education and rights have the chance to flag up the importance of the subject as part of a Scottish Parliament consultation exercise.

  • Women and the SDGs seminar

    This seminar will look at Global Goal 5: Gender Equality. On International Women’s Day Scotdec and Take One Action host an expert panel to stimulate discussion and debate. Using film to enrich learning and understanding of women's and girl’s rights.

  • Cotton Unfolded: Threads of Truth

    Angela Oakley from the Scottish Fair Trade Forum will take us on a journey through cotton production past, present and future. Using Global Goal 8: decent work and economic growth, this seminar will explore how fair trade can support a better and fairer future for those working in the cotton industry.

    Global Learning Programme Scotland offers practical fully- funded support to clusters, schools and teachers to develop global citizenship across the curriculum and through whole school activities. The Programme is aimed at all sectors - primary, secondary (including transition) and additional support needs.

  • Teach Global Ambassadors Teach Global Ambassadors

    Teach Global Ambassadors aims to build secondary teachers’ confidence and capacity to incorporate Global Citizenship into their teaching, enable them to support pupils to become 'active global citizens' and to lead on Global Citizenship activities within their schools and local authorities.
